Aug 16th - The Cherry Festival
To all the magical souls who make this place what it is — thank you.
Virginia City has a spirit all its own — part history, part dream — and it’s that same spirit that inspired Tir na nÓg, a name that means Land of Eternal Youth. Here, under open skies and among good people, that feeling is real.
Whether you came for the cherries, the music, the stories, or the quiet in-between moments, you are part of what makes this all possible. This orchard, this festival, this town — none of it means anything without the community that breathes life into it.
So thank you — for showing up, for believing in something beautiful, and for helping us grow something that matters.
— With gratitude,
Tir na nÓg Orchards

Supporting Montana's Story—One Cherry at a Time
At Tir na nÓg Orchards, every cherry we grow and every festival we host is rooted in something deeper: a legacy of giving back. All proceeds from our cherry sales and community events go to the Susanna Bogue Charitable Endowment Fund, a lasting tribute to the life and vision of Susanna Bogue.
Housed at the Montana Community Foundation, this fund supports the causes Susanna held dear — including education, the arts, environmental conservation, and the preservation of Montana’s unique heritage. From helping a student pursue their creative goals to restoring historic landmarks like Virginia City, this fund ensures Montana’s stories continue to be told and treasured.
